Michael Wiencek has a passion for making change in people’s lives. He founded Wiencek + Associates on that very principle, along with a mission to create an environment where other architects could be nurtured and challenged.
Brad has over 12 years of executive experience in real estate development, property management and business development. He specializes in improving operations, delivering excellence and continually growing a stellar team.
Scott brings more than 25 yrs of experience in design and master planning of award-winning residential, commercial and institutional projects. His focus is affordable housing and senior communities in the DC metro area.
Ryan received a Master’s of Architecture from Tulane University in 2011. He joined Wiencek + Associates in 2016 after spending the start of his career in construction doing estimation, specification review, and technical drawing.
Tannaz joined our firm having earned a Master’s of Architecture degree from Eastern Mediterranean University and a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Maryland School of Architecture. Her diverse background includes experience residential architecture, engineering studies and cost estimating, and working with a civil construction firm.
Raedun is a registered Architect and an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) in N. Virginia. She earned a Bachelor in Architecture with a Minor in History from Carnegie Mellon University. Her experience ranges from custom residential homes to multifamily to mixed-use and religious buildings.
Temi is a registered Architect who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Temple University in 2011. She has 8 years of experience in multifamily, and design management experience in hospitality and restaurants.
Jeremiah has over 6 years of architectural experience after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute. He is passionate about sustainability, which led to him becoming certified as a Passive House Designer. He has worked on a multitude of projects from multifamily to multi-story logistic centers.
Brittani earned a BS degree in Business Management from Rivier University in Nashua, NH where she also captained the women’s Field Hockey team. She is a strong problem solver who enjoys multitasking, analyzing operations to identify solutions that improve work flows and maximize business processes.
John is a registered Architect who strives to make a meaningful impact through the built environment. He earned is Master’s in Architecture from Virginia Tech. in 2018. His experience ranges from multifamily to event planning spaces and spends his free time crafting beer.
Gia came to Washington, D.C. in 1997 from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she studied Journalism. She then completed a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at The Catholic University of America.
Ben has an Associates Degree in Architectural Technology and is working on his Bachelor’s of Architecture degree at the University of Maryland.
Since joining the field of architecture in 1986 Carl has held positions in small & large architecture firms and a non-profit housing developer. He has experience in both new construction and renovation projects.
Evan joined our team having spent several years working on the iconic Wharf project in DC. He earned a Bachelors in Architecture from Howard University and studied architecture abroad in Paris and Africa.
Rei is a registered Architect who earned his Masters of Architecture from The Catholic University of America. His experience includes working on a variety of projects, such as multifamily, senior living, religious, education, commercial, and mixed use. He is a hands on manager who enjoys mentoring and teaching.
Saakshi joined Wiencek-Associates in 2017 after earning her Master of Architecture degree as well as her certification in Sustainable Landscape Design from the University of Cincinnati. She worked as a licensed architect in India and gathered experience in different fields before completing her masters.
Kumi joined Wiencek-Associates after earning her Master of Architecture at the University of Cincinnati where she participated in their prestigious CO-OP program giving her valuable experience in producing construction documents for new construction senior multifamily housing.

POSITION TITLE: Architectural Designer
1. Produce 3D model & rendering of building with Autodesk Revit, Sketchup and Enscape.
2. Produce construction documents utilizing Autodesk Revit under supervision of Architect.
3. Product material research & analysis.
4. Site visit; pre-design survey, existing building condition survey & post occupancy elevation (POE).
5. Pre-design & Programmatic design with hand sketch.
6. Conduct existing building/unit survey for renovation project. Generate Revit model identifying existing compared to new floor plan that complies with building and regulatory agency codes.
7. Carry out construction administration duties, including site visit during construction, punch walk and Post Occupancy Evaluation.
8. Participating in Revit user group to ensure company standards are correctly met.
9. Assist in preparing specifications.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s in Architecture. Knowledge of and/or experience in creating Revit Models, Revit worksharing, Revit technical support and maintenance, assisting site visits and building surveys for renovations, building code analysis, site zoning analysis, Post Occupancy Evaluation, material analysis and research, Specification assistance for new and renovation projects and Autocad.
