Community + Education

N Street Village Supportive Housing – Renovation

Wiencek + Associates worked with non-profit N Street Village to transform their existing flagship location into a fresh, vibrant, and energy efficient community. This project was a direct extension of N Street Village’s mission to empower homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C. to claim their highest quality of life by offering a broad spectrum of services, housing, and advocacy in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

The renovation reconfigured N Street Village’s offices and program spaces, updated 51 Affordable apartments for low and moderate income residents (managed by WC Smith), updated 15 Supportive housing suites, and implemented green infrastructure and garage improvements. The design was carefully considered to address N Street Village’s culture of open doors and empowerment.
