Retail space and apartment units for both Section 8 and 60% AMI residents comprise 7 stories in this steel-and-precast structure. Facing Georgia Avenue, the 7-story tripartite facade is classically composed with an articulated retail canopy, brick shaft punctuated by glassy bays, and a 2-tone panel penthouse. These same elements shift along the residential side-street to a relaxed composition that steps down in scale to the neighbors.
