Village at Shirlington

Wiencek + Associates was selected to study options for converting an existing 1-acre parking lot to a high-rise senior living community within the Village at Shirlington. The Village at Shirlington is a 27.3-acre mixed use development that is the heart and soul of arts and entertainment in Arlington County, Virginia. The study and subsequent master plan focused on creating different building configurations for the proposed senior living community that included independent, assisted and memory care units, as well as alternative parking schemes, traffic patterns and pedestrian patterns as affected by the proposed senior living community.
